An urban master class in summer – the transformation of an old gunpowder factory into a contemporary creative city centre is a joint project of several partners from industry and science. It will take place in the first week of August Kamnik Slovenia and will be a research and test event for the WCSA on how to deal with this type of venue in the future.
The idea is to combine PBL and triple-helix models of education while solving real-life problems in urban environments. In terms of technology, the summer school will test and explore how technologies can be used to combine on-site and online education simultaneously to bring together different global participants and staff. The results and research behind the educational process will be presented at the Ischia conference in November.
